PORTSTEWART Golf Club will be represented at the final of the Coronation Foursomes at St Andrews in September.
The Coronation Foursomes is the leading foursomes event for club golfers in Great Britain and Ireland.
 The competition is open to all members of affiliated golf clubs who hold a CONGU handicap.
Established in 1953, the event has become increasingly popular in clubs where the winners may qualify for one of the sixteen Area Finals.
Portstewart members Marian Hamilton and Irene Currie.
The two ladies  won the local competitiion in Portstewart before going on to  complete in the Area Final at Moyola Golf Club.
They they  headed the field against 18 other clubs - eventually winning with 39 points.
The 2018 Grand Final will be played on Monday,  September 24 on the Eden Course at St. Andrews.
