Bannsiders flying high thumbnailA group of happy Coleraine supporters who made the two hour trip to Ballinamallard to watch their side beat the hosts 2-0.

COLERAINE consolidated their position at the top of the Danske Bank Premiership with a comfortable enough victory over Ballinamallard Utd at the weekend. Goals from Ian Parkhill and Brad Lyons secured the win, though the margin of victory could have been much greater were it not for the heroics of home goalkeeper Richard Brush.
He produced a series of saves to deny the visitors, and in particular striker Jamie McGonigle who on another day might have had a hat-trick.
Nevertheless, it's job done as far as manager Oran Kearney was concerned.
“It was one of those days you always wanted that second goal," he admitted.
“The only thing we could criticise at half-time was our recklnessness in front of goal.
“We had a lot of play but we failed to take our chances.
