COLERAINE GS..............7 DALRIADA...........27

DALRIADA School got the better of local rivals Coleraine Grammar School in an exciting game under floodlights at Coleraine Rugby Club last Wednesday evening. The 'home' side began positively, enjoying lots of possession and territory in the early stages, and came close to opening the scoring from a penalty but the effort from close range went wide.
Coleraine Grammar continued to exert pressure on the visiting side but Dalriada's defence remained firm and they were rewarded for their determination by going down the other end of the pitch and opening the scoring.
A period of pressure resulted in a line-out five metres from the Coleraine line and Dalriada made the most of their opportunity. A perfectly executed line-out move saw the ball end in the arms of Curtis Pollock who dived in for a fine score.
