OVER 1,200 cyclists took part in last weekend's Giant's Causeway Coast Sportive despite the changeable weather which made the going tough for some.
Now in its seventh year, the event - which was held in association with Chain Reaction Cycles - started and finished in Ballycastle and offered riders from across Northern Ireland and further afield a choice of three routes around the stunning Causeway Coast and Glens of Antrim.
Event organiser, Beverley Magowan of Outdoor Recreation NI, was delighted with the event's success.
“We've received fantastic feedback from participants this year who, despite the changeable weather, had a great day on their bikes," she said.
