ARMOY Motorcycle Road Race Club members have donated four shirts signed by every rider who participated in this year’s event.

These will be auctioned off to raise money for different local Northern Ireland Charities including the Injured Riders Welfare Fund.

The Injured Riders Welfare Fund (IRWF) - a charity that provides financial support and assistance to riders who have suffered injury - put the donated signed shirt up for auction at their IRWF Quiz Night, which took place at last week’s Ulster Grand Prix.

Jan Simm, of the Injured Riders Welfare Fund said: “We are overwhelmed by the kind donation from the Armoy Road Races members. It is so important that we raise vital funds for our charity as any member of the racing community may need our assistance at any time. We try and run as many events as possible, but this gesture from the club will help us greatly.
