Vital victory for Glenullin thumbnail

PADDY Bradley has a very successful evening managing his Newbridge team to victory with 21 points to spare over Drumsurn.
Around 8.20pm he took off for his native Glenullin some twenty plus miles away and arrived in time to come on as a sub with around 20 minutes to play. He pitched in with two points against Swatragh in a game that was vital to both.
Glenullin won by five and now look comfortable, not so Swatragh who are second from bottom on five points. Paddy's next journey is a bit longer, it is to New York to take part in an exhibition game along with a number of former All Stars.
This win saw Glenullin take significant step away from relegation area with a five point win over Swatragh at Sean O'Maoilain Park on Wednesday night. Paul McAtamney and James Kearney struck first for Swatragh but Glenullin hit back with an Eoin Bradley goal.
After being fouled, he had his initial shot saved but made no mistake from the follow up. Paddy Bradley (the Swatragh version) levelled matters with a point. Glenullin had a goal chance but Seamus McFlynn saved well from Gerard O'Kane.
