ARMOY Road Races' Clerk of the Course Bill Kennedy has lined up a trio of exciting newcomers to take part in this year's meeting, Chronicle Sport has learned.
Fresh from his Isle of Man TT exploits, young prospect Adam McLean is set to be joined at the Roadside KIA-backed event by Paul Jordan and Joe Thompson.
All three have enjoyed steady starts to season, with McLean's stock soaring courtesy of his Supersport A Race victory at the Cookstown 100 back in April.
“Riders like Adam will be coming to Armoy for the very first time but I've high hopes for them," said Kennedy. "When you look at what he's achieved so far already, you would have to say he will be in the mix for a podium finish in the Supersport class. Adam, Paul and Joe are three incredibly talented newcomers.
“It's always good to see new blood coming through in road racing and I'm excited at the fact they have agreed to come to this year's Armoy Road Races."
Entries will close on July 3 with Kennedy working hard to secure the services of the Dunlop brothers - William and Michael - and Dublin-based Derek Sheils.
