THE Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has announced that Northern Ireland Children's Hospice will be the nominated charity for SuperCupNI.
Alderman Maura Hickey said: "I am delighted that the vital work of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice is being recognised through this international event.
“There are more than 1300 children and young people living with life-threatening conditions in Northern Ireland.
“These children and their families rely on the assistance and palliative care service that the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice provides and it is fully deserving of all our assistance," added Mayor Hickey.
SuperCupNI Committee Chairman - Mr Victor Leonard - has welcomed the news that support for local life limited children will be at the heart of the youth tournament.
