THE DUCATI name will return to the North West 200 this year in the hands of British Superbike championship frontrunner, Glenn Irwin.
The Ulsterman is set to ride the PBM/Be Wiser prepared bike in both Superbike races at the Coleraine and District Motor Club meeting.
After a sensational debut in 2015 that saw the 27-year-old finish on the podium in the second Supersport Race, he opted to skip last year's event to focus on his short circuit commitments alongside Shanye 'Shaky' Byrne. However, Irwin said he always wanted to return.
