THE annual Fun Run of the Glens (FROG) charity cycle will take place on Saturday, June 17, it has been announced.
The event - which is now in its twelfth year - is designed to suit cyclists of all abilities, will take in three different routes over the scenic Glens of Antrim. The cycle routes range from a leisurely 25-miles or a challenging 50-miles to a more serious one hundred mile trip. There will also be a static FROG event in Glenravel Community Complex.
The static event is a series of back-to-back sixty minute spin classes that will be held throughout the day, so there really is something for everyone. The sportive has gone from strength to strength and organisers hope to attract a record number of cyclists to raise as much money as possible for charity, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.
