Coleraine close in on third place thumbnailGlenavonís Andy McGrory is brought to the ground following a challenge by Darren McCauley.

TWO goals from in-form striker Jamie McGonigle coupled with a draw for Cliftonville at Dungannon edged Coleraine into third place in the Danske Bank Premiership at the weekend.
The Bannsiders started the game brightly, befitting a team unbeaten in their previous eleven outings but were rocked when Joel Cooper opened the scoring for the home side early in the first half.
However, undaunted, they fought their way back into the game and deservedly drew level when Jamie McGonigle headed home an Adam Mullan cross for his thirteenth league goal of the season.
The visitors continued to take the game to their opponents whose manager, Gary Hamilton, had rang the changes with one eye on the impending Irish Cup semi-final between the same two teams in less than a fortnight's time. And they got the reward their efforts deserved in the second period when McGonigle latched on to a pass from Eoin Bradley to out run his marker and calmly steer the ball past Glenavon 'keeper Jonathan Tuffey.
