What a job they had in hand getting everything ready for the big night, invaluable work over many hours. "Fred has asked that all trophies and cups be returned in early August next year to enable an assessment to be carried out of their condition, especially the older ones. Great care needs to be taken with the cleaning of the cups, no wire wool or Brasso to be used," said a spokesperson.
In the far north which includes lofts in Ballymoney and Coleraine they again featured in the presentation with the King of Bushmills Trevor McDonald winning first Open NIPA in the opening race of the old bird season from Mullingar.
