V1 fundraiser at Cushendall Golf Club

Thursday, 3 November 2016

MEMBERS of Cushendall Golf Club are being urged to get involved with a fundraiser planned for November 23 between 9am and 10am.
Money raised from the event will help finance the new club 'V1 Golf Management' system. To help cover the cost of the purchase a black bag bin collection is taking place, with items collected being distributed to needy people in both East and West Africa as well as Pakistan.
“Items collected will be distributed so should be suitable for wearing. All-Tex will accept clothes and shoes for men, women and children of all ages plus hats, belts and handbags," explained a club spokesperson. "There is also a need for pairs of curtains, clean bed linen and towels. It would help if you put these items in separate bags from the clothing and shoes." Pillows, duvets and mats will not be accepted.
“We would appreciate your support for this event as everyone in the club will benefit from the new golf management system," added the spokesperson. "So get those wardrobes cleared out for Christmas and put all your unwanted items in black bags, secure the bags well and bring them to the club." Bags should be brought to the club any time on November 20 until November 22. Collection will be November 23.MEMBERS of Cushendall Golf Club are being urged to get involved with a fundraiser planned for November 23 between 9am and 10am.
