Ballymoney 2nd XI............................1
Knock 2nd XI....................................0

CARA Ferguson's second half goal was enough for Ballymoney 2nd XI to see off the challenge of Knock 2nd XI at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre on Saturday.
After a slow start to the New Year the 2nd XI came out fighting and started off well, enjoying the majority of possession with some great play and early chances from Laura McCurdy and Nicola Sergeant.
Emma Kirkpatrick scored a fantastic goal that was disallowed after as it was deemed to be a dangerous shot.
Knock were proving to be a strong team and the game remained goalless at half time. Ballymoney continued to play strongly and took their chance with a great goal from Cara Ferguson after a well placed cross from Lauren Mullan.
The home side defended well and Danielle Stewart had an outstanding game in goals, as Knock failed to score.
The team would like to thank those who came to support and to Ivan for umpiring.
