Award offered for information following poisoning of pet thumbnailKevin McAuley and his pet cat, O'Malley, who died on Friday evening after being poisoned.

A FORMER Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has offered an award to whoever brings forward information leading to a convictions following the callous poisoning of a cat in Ballycastle.
Cllr Joan Baird feels so strongly about the "reprehensible" actions of whoever was behind the "despicable" attack on an innocent family pet.
Kevin McAuley's little black cat, O'Malley, returned home on Friday evening and Kevin knew immediately that all wasn't well.
He said: "O'Malley couldn't stand up, I knew there was something wrong with him.
He was struggling to breathe and had totally lost the power of his legs. We were on the way to the vets when he died on the passenger seat."
