THE residents of Mayo Drive in are celebrating after a successful Big Lunch and Fun Day to mark 50 years of the Ballycastle development.
Men, women and children from across the generations came together on Sunday to celebrate the landmark anniversary with 'vintage' games such as hula hoops, skipping and hop-scotch!
The idea of the celebration came from a conversation between long-time resident Margaret Kerrigan and her son, Paul, one evening.
Paul told The Chronicle: "The weekend was a great success, it was very well supported by the current residents of Mayo Drive and previous residents, as well as locals from other estates and developments.
