THE FAMILY of the late Brian McMullan came together on Saturday past to remember him in a unique fundraiser which saw his brother, Jonathan, shave off his beard for charity.
The former Moyarget man passed away suddenly on May 27 2017 as a result of epilepsy and his family and partner are determined to honour him by raising funds as well as an awareness of epilepsy, in particular Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).
Speaking to The Chronicle, Brian's sister Danielle said her 30-year-old brother had never let epilepsy hold him back, in fact he was a Thunder Rod Champion, he enjoyed off-road biking and ran his own mechanic business, but, Danielle said, he fulfilled his childhood dream of being Number One Tang!
