Kellyann beats the chaser! thumbnailKellyann McKillen who won 4,500 on ITV's quiz show - The Chase.

A BALLYCASTLE woman will spend Christmas in Australia with her sisters thanks to a 4,500 win on ITV quiz show, The Chase.
The episode Kellyann McKillen took part in was filmed in October last year, but only aired to the public last week.
The receptionist in The Manor House on Rathlin Island told The Chronicle she actually applied for the show "well over" two years ago and took part in a mini-audition where she was told she would be placed on the contestant list and to wait for a call.
The Chase, hosted by Bradley Walsh, is shown on ITV1 on weekday nights at 5pm.
It sees teams of four try to build up as much money as they can by answering general knowledge questions.
The teams go up against the chaser, one of six know-it-all quizzers in a bid to keep the money that they win.
Any money that the challengers win is then split between the people remaining on the team at the end of the show.
Kellyann said: "I received a call out of the blue last September - I never usually answer calls from blocked numbers - but on this occasion I am happy I did!"
On October 29 Kellyann found herself in Elstree, London.  She said: "Most of the other contestants stayed there too but we didn't know it.
“I was picked up at 9am and we headed straight to the studio, everyone was so nice, they are not lying when they say you have a brilliant day win or lose."
Kellyann said she was "thrilled" to get Anne 'The Governess' Hegerty, as she is her favourite chaser.
She continued: "Bradley Walsh is the nicest man I think I've ever met.  He was so interested in Rathlin, where I work, he even looked The Manor House up on tripadvisor.
“I had a couple of hard questions and I couldn't believe I made it through to the final chase and had low expectations about winning anything but when Lawrence got started he was on a roll he could have won on his own.
“I contributed with a few correct answers. We managed to walk away with 18,000, 4,500 each. I've spent the majority of it already on a couple of London trips and the rest will go on Australia to visit my three sisters at Christmas!"
And it seems that appearing on The Chase has given the 31-year-old a taste for TV as she admits that she would love to take part in toehr quiz shows such as Catchphrase, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire and if she can convince some of her Ballywillan Drama Group Friends, she's like to apply for the Crystal Maze!
