Hong Kong branch of Ballycastle Irish dancing school in St Patrick’s Day Celebrations thumbnailCatriona Newcombe who has dancing schools in Ballycastle, Belfast, Hong Kong and soon to the Antrim area is pictured with her dancers along with Mr Peter Ryan and Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-Chung.

On Monday, March 12, Echoes of Erin school of Irish Dancing Hong Kong and Ireland was invited by Mr. Peter Ryan Árd Chonsal na hÉireann/Cons ul General of Ireland to Hong Kong and Macau!
The group, taught by local woman Catriona Newcombe, performed at the Conrad Hotel during a special reception on the occasion of St Patrick's Day and visit of An Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs & Trade Mr. Simon Coveney T.D., in the presence of their honourable guest Chief Secretary for Administration Mr. Matthew Cheung Kin-chung G.B.M., G.B.S., J.P.
In attendance was also Cathy Pacific Airline to celebrate the new Dublin to Hong Kong Flight starting in June.
Catriona will be taking dancers from Ireland and Hong Kong to the WIDA World Championships 2018 being held in the city of Maastricht in the Netherlands from April 5th to 8th inclusive.
