George still hitting high notes - at 101! thumbnailGeorge Fullerton blows out the candles of his 101st birthday cake during a special birthday party at Ratheane Nursing Home.

A 101-year-old Bushmills man proved the importance of love when he serenaded his wife during his own birthday celebrations. All eyes were on George Fullerton and his wife Ruth when the pair began to sing the lyrics to "When I Get Too Old to Dream' during a birthday party held at Ratheane Nursing Home.
The centenarian, who was born and bred in Castlecatt, was honoured by staff of the Coleraine home along with his family and friends with songs, hymns and poetry readings during celebrations on Monday, January 22.
