Time’s up for drink drivers thumbnailAll motorists need to consider their consequences of their actions.

OVER 20 people in the Causeway Coast and Glens area were arrested for drink driving during the festive period. The figures released from this year's PSNI Christmas drink driving campaign 2017/18, which ran from December 1 to January 1, revealed an increase by 15.5% of those arrested across Northern Ireland, compared to the previous year.
This year, a total of 340 evidential procedures were completed, on persons ranging from 17 to 87 years old and males accounted for the majority, with 86% subject to these.
Commenting on the figures, Inspector Rosie Leech said: "When we launched this operation at the start of December, we warned drivers not to take the risk because just one drink can impair your decision making. Just one drink can cause a collision. Just one drink could kill.
