Top marks for town! thumbnailA recent survey has found Ballycastle to be the friendliest town centre in the borough, with Limavady placed second and Portstewart taking third place.

BALLYCASTLE boasts the friendliest town centre in the borough, according to a survey commissioned by the council.
And the coastal resort's unique atmosphere also scored highly among both the public and traders, along with its cafes and value for money.
The survey was conducted earlier this year as part of an evaluation of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council's retail and leisure offer.
Its findings will help officials draw up the next Local Development Plan which provides a framework for planners assessing applications.
The town centre reports were compiled on the borough's six biggest settlements - Ballycastle, Ballymoney, Coleraine, Limavady, Portrush and Portstewart.
When the public and businesses were questioned on positive aspects of the town centre, Ballycastle's friendliness topped the table, with Limavady securing second place and Portstewart third.
Ballycastle's atmosphere fared slightly better than Portstewart and Limavady while value for money was cited as another positive for the coastal town.
