St Patrick's and St Brigid's Primary School pupil Roisin Magee has recently raised funds for the Northern Ireland Children's Lapland Trust.
Roisin previously went with the charity to meet Santa in Lapland and upon her return decided that she would like to help raise funds for the charity. Roisin, who has developed an interest in distance running after meeting the Irish Paralympic gold medallist Michael Mc Killop, decided to run Ballycastle beach to raise her target of £1000 .
On Friday November 10 on a cold, wet day, Roisin, accompanied by some members of St Patrick's and St Brigid's Primary School and members of the local community completed the run and helped to raise awareness of the work the charity does to help children who have life long and life threatening conditions.
