A DUNLOY man, who killed a mother-of-eight and her aunt while driving on the wrong side of the road, has received a four-month prison sentence.
North Antrim Magistrates, sitting in Coleraine, yesterday (Monday, October 30) heard how Paul Patrick Duffy, from Hillside Drive, had caused a collision just after midnight on September 4 this year while driving without his lights illuminated.
Earlier the court heard how a woman travelling in the opposite direction spotted the father-of-four's vehicle as she approached roadworks. She pulled in but 37-year-old Duffy collided with her car at Bridge Road, Dunloy, as he passed her and failed to stop.
