AN ARMOY man who was involved in a high speed car crash that resulted in the death of his cousin and another man, is due to be sentenced today (Tuesday September 12).
During a previous court appearance, Shane Kinney admitted racing his cousin on April 6 2015 on the Cushendall Road, Ballycastle.
His parents, Kevin and Sharon Kinney, pleaded guilty to trying to help their son hide evidence of his involvement in the crash. They are also due to be sentenced today.
The two men who died in the crash were Johnny Black, 19 and Kinney's cousin Robin Wilson, 26. Seven other people were injured.
