GET YOUR trainers on and put your best foot forward - in aid of little Linkinn Smyth!
A 2K fun run/walk will be held on Wednesday August 23 at Riverside Park, Ballymoney, starting at 7pm. The event is in aid of Linkinn's 1000K challenge, no entry fee is desired but donations to the Helping Hand Charity at RBHSC will be welcomed.
Last month we brought you the story of Linkinn, who, at birth was diagnosed with vesicoureteric reflux, marked left hydroureteronephrosis and vesacostomy on the bladder.
To date, the four-year-old has underwent seven operations and his mum, Gemma, wants to give something back to those who have helped him, including the doctors and nurses in the Barbour Ward and Paul Ward at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, supported by the Helping Hand Charity.
