A STUDENT nurse from Bushmills who has just returned from a month long trip to Mozambique has described it is an experience that will stay with her for the rest of her life.
Sarah Jones, who is a final year nursing student at Queens University Belfast, spent her 'elective' working as a volunteer nurse in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, that offers care and rehabilitation for children with learning disabilities.
Sarah, who by her own admission, has had a different cultural upbringing than most, so it was no surprise to her parents when she chose somewhere as far flung as Maputo.
