Play park review launched after vandalism in Glentaisie thumbnailTemporary barriers have been put in place at Glentaisie play park after vandals destroyed the wire fencing.

PLAY PARKS across the Borough are to be reviewed in relation to condition and security after significant damage was carried out on a recently renovated facility in the Glentaisie area of Ballycastle.
Following reports from local residents as well as elected representatives, the Council's Play Park Inspector logged the damage and assessed the amount of work needing to be carried out.
Ballycastle Sinn Féin Councillor, Cara McShane, praised the quick response of Council staff in tending to the damage, but added that everyone has a responsibility in ensuring public property is protected and those responsible for vandalism brought to task.
