FIVE local businesses have received a late Christmas present from the Rotary Club of Ballycastle after a cheque presentation evening held last week in Tessie's.
Back in December, with Council's permission and support, the Rotary Club began a fundraiser which would see yellow ribbons tied around the town's Christmas tree in memory of loved ones at Christmas. For each message, a donation was made, which the Rotary Club split between five deserving local charities. The Rotary Club supplied all fittings needed and manned the tree from 10am until 5pm each day from December 8 until the afternoon of Christmas Eve.
