A STUNNING Ballycastle student was chosen as Miss Ballymena at the Insanity Tan Miss NI heat held at Gillies Bar, Galgorm last Thursday.
Fionnula Mooney, 20, will go through to the gala final in May and be in with the chance of being crowned this year's Insanity Tan Miss Northern Ireland.
A bevy of beauties took part in the fifth local heat with girls from across the country competing in front of an astute judging panel which included model agent Alison Clarke, former Miss Northern Ireland, Lucy Evangelista and current Miss Northern Ireland, Emma Carswell.
Caoimhe Nic An Fhirléighinn, from Belfast, was crowned "Miss Gillies" and Fionnula was chosen as "Miss Ballymena". Both girls will now go forward to the grand final in Belfast's Europa Hotel in May and stand a chance of winning the coveted title of the, 'Insanity Tan Miss Northern Ireland 2017.'
