Paisley’s White House date with Trump! thumbnailNorth Antrim MP Ian Paisley pictured with US President Donald Trump during a previous meeting.

NORTH Antrim DUP MP, Ian Paisley is the only local MP invited to a White House reception this week to meet US President, Donald Trump, to mark St. Patrick's Day.
Mr Paisley received his special personal invite last Thursday and he will be renewing acquaintances with Mr Trump, having met him with his late father, Lord Bannside at Trump Towers more than 10 years ago.
The new President was involved in hand picking the guests for the hottest ticket in Washington on Thursday. Mr Trump is already being labelled the most controversial President in US history after signing a series of highly controversial executive orders since taking up office in January.
One of his favourite methods of communication is via 'Twitter' and he makes no apology for pursuing his policies aggressively.
Mr Paisley has met Mr Trump on a number of occasions privately at his NYC office and on two occasions along with his late father.
