The trouble with twinning thumbnailSinn Fein Councillor Cara McShane.

A SINN Fein councillor's claim that Moyle Twinning Committee has "some kind of anti-McShane element" has been "totally refuted" by another councillor on Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
Cllr Cara McShane made her remarks during a debate on the funding allocated to the twinning committees in the four legacy councils, at last week's full council meeting.
UUP Cllr Joan Baird had raised the issue, expressing her disappointment that Moyle had only got 2,000, (and Limavady 2,700) compared to 5,000 each for Coleraine and Ballymoney.
These amounts, the same as last year, were before the meeting for ratification, having previously been agreed at the Corporate Policy and Resources Committee meeting on January 17.
