THE BOARD of Governors, staff, pupils and whole school community of St Patrick's and St Brigid's PS were delighted to be informed recently that the school had received the prestigious Inclusion Quality Mark (UK) Ltd - Centre of Excellence Award for a second year.
This award is the result of the school meeting a range of 'targets' that recognise the inclusiveness of the school and Nursery Unit.
Mr Tim Ireson, an experienced Inclusion Quality Mark assessor and head teacher with a wealth of experience across a range of schools throughout the United Kingdom spent time meeting children, parents, community and staff as well as observing current school practices and achievements.
As a result of Mr Ireson's visit and observations his findings were confirmed by Mr J Mc Cann MBA NPQH, Director of Inclusion Quality Mark (UK) Ltd.
