Disney’s ‘brave’ princess takes to the sky thumbnailPrincess Merida with Princess Gracie! Gracie’s dress was made by local dressmaker Lorraine Simpson.

BALLYCASTLE woman Gabrielle McKnight is well known locally as fiery red-haired Princess Merida from Disney's 'Brave'... and that's certainly what she's proving to be as she prepares to sky dive to raise funds for a sick child close to her heart.
Gabrielle will be joined in her tandem jump next April by Captain America as they pledge to raise funds for little Noah Coates, a child the Disney and Marvel characters have grown close to after getting to know his family.
Speaking to The Chronicle Gabrielle explained why she and Captain America are taking to the skies.
She said: "Noah's disease, Vanishing White Matter, is so rare that it affects only 250 people worldwide, in fact that number has more than likely fallen. There's no known cure and their nearest hospital with experts is in Holland. It's just devastating for Sarah and Greg and little Gracie.
